A portrait of my niece and pet cat painted after a family gathering in October 1999 while living near Chicago. Photographs from the event were manipulated and digitally painted in photoshop to create an image as reference for the painting. This process became the new standard practice for many of my painted works making them personally meaningful in an aesthetically beautiful way.
