I’ve always had a fascination for carnivorous plants and wanted to use some of my own images of venus flytraps as inspiration for art. A student drawing was made years ago where I’d juxtaposed a disproportionately large image of the plant with a human skeleton. I wanted to return to the idea with a new perspective using current tools and techniques.
