This was part of an online competition challenging artists to create an original digital image inspired by the work of a famous artist. I was just learning to use photoshop and thought this could help improve my skills. After posting “Mona” online Ann Kennedy contacted me to use it in her magazine The Silver Web in association with the story “Art Cannot Hurt You”, by Claire Robson. I was just starting out as a digital artist and working with others on the internet. It was an exciting time.
